Internal Training: Cadmium's Switch to Concur Travel

Before I was lucky enough to be a part of the CadmiumCD family, I was the Internal Communication Specialist for IKEA's US Contact Center and Human Resources Service center for 8 of my 12 years there. In that job, I was able to realize my passion of working with and helping others, and to hone my communication and hosting skills through training and education.

I currently reside in Bel Air which is not far from my parents who reside in Aberdeen and whom I absolutely adore. In my free time I love to watch cartoons, cook, clean, spend time with friends and family, watch the Olympics and any updates or coverage about the Olympics, and take a nap whenever I can.

I live and work in CT which makes me Cadmium’s first CT employee.  I have a wife and two young daughters.  They pretty much take up most of my free time with soccer, softball, basketball, and golf to the point where I am primarily an uber driver on the weekend.  I am an avid golfer, bowler, and outdoorsman when I am not at a kid’s event and try to stay as active as possible.  I am a diehard Red Sox fan, as well as a SF 49ers fan (Long story about that one but at least it isn’t the Patriots).  It also appears that there are a lot of “Johns” in this organization.  One nickname that has seem to stick with me throughout the years is JB3 (Full name John Barrett III).  So, if that makes it easier for anyone, I am all for it.
