Drawing on Loehr and Schwartz's Performance Pyramid model and the leadership principle of Personal Integrity, this 15–20 minute course reframes burnout and short tempers as an energy problem, not a discipline problem. Managers learn the four capacities that sustain high performance (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual), the concept of "oscillation" — deliberately alternating stress with recovery — and why keeping promises to yourself is the habit that multiplies all the others.
Two scenario-based knowledge checks and a self-assessment help managers apply the concepts to their own week, and the course closes with a personal 30-day commitment (one energy habit, one integrity practice) to bring into the next leadership meeting for group discussion and accountability.
Approximate Time to Complete: 15 minutes

I lead a talented group of professionals who design and deliver customer and employee learning programs that drive understanding, adoption, and long-term success.
With a background in Education, training delivery, and instructional design, I’m driven by the challenge of making learning accessible, measurable, engaging, and impactful. Above all, I believe great training doesn’t just teach, it transforms how people connect with the instructional content, the technology, and each other.
I obtained my B.A. in Mass Communications and English Literature from Florida State University and received my M.S.Ed in Urban Education from Florida International University. I am an avid reader, writer, and would love to publish a novel one day. I live in Tampa, Florida with my husband and two boys.

Cadmium
After graduating from Towson University with a degree in Mass Communication I began a career as a News & Public Affairs Producer in radio and television. I have over 20 years of project management and training experience. I've been with Cadmium since 2012. I'm the father of two wonderful children. I'm active as a Boy Scout leader and I coached rec league lacrosse for over 7 years in addition to holding the position of In-House Commissioner for 2 years. When I had spare time I enjoyed doing most any outdoor activity. I have many leather bound books and my office smells of rich mahogany.
